Jefferson family farm history

The  Jefferson family received Iowa's Heritage Family Farm award in 2006 for  150 years of continuous family stewardship of the land.  Today's farm  consists of cropland, timber along Crane Creek, and a farmstead  dedicated to growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  Bruce and Jan  Jefferson are the current farm residents, the 6th generation on the  land.
